Mission trip set for April
Last March a group of us travelled to Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Miss., to spend a week helping rebuild homes that had been affected by Hurricane Katrina. We hope to return to Back Bay in 2012, but this year we need to find another site for a mission trip.
After considering several alternatives, we have decided to spend a week helping repair homes of some of the poorest residents in Appalachia. We plan to work with the Appalachian Service Project, a well-established non-denominational relief organization with three permanent work sites in Appalachia. We plan to take a group of 10 to 15 from April 3 to 9 to the ASP site in Brenton, W.Va. If you’re interested in joining us, want more information or are interested in contributing financially, please contact Warren Tho-mas or Rev. Scott Thomas. Look at the Web site www.ASPhome.org for more information. Watch for more details over the next three months.

Spaghetti Dinner
The annual spaghetti supper, to benefit the Sunday school, will be held on April 10. We are beginning to collect uncooked spaghetti and sauce. If you would like to contribute, please bring your donations to church on Sunday and leave it in the library or give to Deb Cullen. Thank you!
