Why Christian Education is Important to me:

"Christian Education is not simply an opportunity to polish and refine a specific lens through which we view our lives. Christianity is bigger than that... [it gives] its participants a chance to share the experience of learning about God and the world he has created, and make us comfortable with the fact that there is no fixed lens through which we can see ourselves and each other in it, no monolithic dogma that strictly defines how we should see. Christian Education takes the world and the many issues and challenges and joys that it presents on one hand, and the teachings of Jesus and the Bible on the other, and then does something magical. In coming together to wrestle with these questions and shape our understanding of both the world and Christ, and the more people we involve in that discussion, the more voices we listen to (from the greatest to the smallest), the more we share this activity with others, in doing all this we come to embody what it means to be a Christian."
