Amherst Community Church

Group 20/21/23 represents the union of three former groups. They meet for lunch at the church on the fourth Wednesday of the month. They enjoy fellowship and a program, and continue to be active where they can be of service.

Group 24 is a group of active, creative women who meet on the first Tuesday of the month about seven times a year. It has a variety of educational and other programs. New members are welcome! Call Jane Hartford at 634-3751.

Group 94 is a fellowship group for singles and couples who may or may not have school-age children. The group meets monthly for fellowship activities. Some of these are planned for the entire family; others are planned for adult fellowship. The group has one annual fund-raising activity: the spring flower sale.

At 8:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month, except during summer, the men of the church meet for fellowship at breakfast. A speaker presents a topic of general interest, with opportunity for discussion. The entire meeting lasts about an hour and a half.

Since 1981, the Rainbow Gift Shop has been contributing to the church with profits from this charming little gift shop. It's open after worship every Sunday and carries jewelry, greeting cards, note paper, toys, candy and seasonal gifts. They will even gift-wrap if you need this service. All clerks are volunteers from Amherst Community Church.

In September 2007 we will begin a monthly potluck and family Bible study session. We will hold several different sessions after dinner including pj's and preschoolers, teen, parent  and adult. Each month will have an inclusive theme. We will have speakers, studies, discussions etc... This new venture is a work in progress. Please see Jennifer or Beth if you have ideas!
