Inreach Board

The mission of the Inreach Board (IB) is to serve and support the church family, welcome and foster visitors and new members, deepen relationships and encourage spiritual growth through worship, music and fellowship.

The board is responsible for Sunday coffee hours and monthly birthday cakes, and includes a Membership Committee, a Congregational Concerns Committee, and a Sunshine Committee to minister to those who are ill or recently home from the hospital. The music program also falls under the Inreach Board.

The Congregational Concerns Committee keeps in touch with our members in retirement and nursing homes. A member of the committee goes to see them at least once a month. Homebound people are also contacted in the same way, as well as those with special needs. This group also delivers flowers; any Sunday that the donor of the flowers for the altar chooses to leave them, the flowers are delivered to someone recently returned home from the hospital or who is homebound. After memorial services, the committee arranges and, occasionally, serves refreshments.

Inreach Notes

On Dec. 14, Ruth Fowlston will be in the Bride’s Room after worship to check your blood pressure. Please stop by and see her.

The Fellowship Hour needs your help! Help us roll out the welcome mat for December – please sign up to host a fellowship hour during Advent.

On Christmas Eve there will be two services, and we hope to have a Wassail Bowl fellowship time following each service. Would you be willing to host one of them? Everything to make the wassail will be in the kitchen.

Please see Shelley Coppola or Sharon Klepfer if you would be able to help out.
