will focus on grieving. Imagine the grief of the disciples at Jesus’ crucifixion! If you’ve ever experienced the loss of someone you love (and few among us haven’t had that experience), you know something about that kind of grief. It’s a very human emotional process, in some ways different for everyone, but a process with some universal characteristics. At our Sunday Night at Church fellowship gathering on March 28, the Rev. Dr. Erwin Brese will be with us to discuss “From Griev-ing to Resurrection.” He’ll offer some practical support in working through and growing through grief; some thoughts on grief as a gateway to personal resurrection; and some context for experiencing grief in light of the story of Christ’s Passion. Dr. Brese, an Amherst native, has been on the staff of the Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center of Western New York since 2000. He holds a doctorate in pastoral counseling. S.N.A.C. starts at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner, and following our brief closing worship we’ll be done by 7:15. As always, there will be activities for the children as well. Do come!
