Our sixth Annual Comfort and Joy celebration will be held at Amherst Community Church on...

     Saturday evening, Dec. 8. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, with the entrees being chicken piccata or sliced sirloin of beef. Dinner also includes a salad, rolls, vegetable, potato, wine, coffee and dessert. Tickets are $15 per person and must be purchased in advance either after worship or by contacting the church office.

     Following dinner a concert will be presented at 7:30 in the sanctuary by the combined Opera-Lytes and the Chancel Choir members. Dessert will be served during the intermission. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased together with the dinner or separately, after worship or that evening before the concert.

The dinner will be prepared by members of the ACC Ways and Means Committee, under the direction of chef Gwen Thomas, and will be delicious. It was close to selling out last year, so please buy your tickets soon. The concert and dessert have always been appreciated, and they make a perfect end to a lovely evening.

Proceeds from the dinner and concert benefit our congregation by helping to balance our budget. Thank you for your support!
