Jesus said the greatest commandment of all is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. And the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself.
At Amherst Community Church we are committed to loving our neighbor. On this page of our website, you
will find links to organizations we feel are doing the work of loving all neighbors. This is not a comprehensive
list, and will change often.
We would love for you to share in this work with us. Please check this page often for updates to our list of
organizations as well as community events we will be participating in or hosting.

Dear Friends of Amherst Community Church,
On Wednesday, August 19, Amherst Police Chief John Askey joined Pastor Lisa Drysdale and Debora Cullen, Education Director, and answered questions our community had regarding policing and racism in Amherst. That interview was recorded and is available here.
We anticipate an ongoing conversation with Chief Askey, and would welcome your comments and questions. Please stay tuned to our page, as we are planning future events on this topic.
